Board Eligible, Obstetrics and Gynecology
Dr. Jones is a native of Pass Christian, MS. She received her undergraduate degree at Vanderbilt University, and earned her medical doctorate from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine. She completed residency in OB/GYN at the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center. Dr. Jones was initially drawn to OB/GYN through shadowing a mentor, but her love for OB/GYN began with her first delivery, when she was exhilarated by the excitement of new life and the joy on the faces of the new parents. This commitment to women’s health only grew as she learned more about treatments used to improve the lives of women, including daVinci robotic surgery. Her particular interests include fertility and adolescent medicine.
Dr. Jones chose to practice in Fairhope due in part to her love and knowledge of the area. She spent summers vacationing with her parents and three younger sisters at the Grand Hotel in Point Clear and considered Fairhope her home away from home. She is an avid researcher who feels strongly about the need to educate her patients so that they can make informed decisions about their healthcare. Her commitment to research earned her the Residence Research Award for OB/GYN in 2015.
Dr. Jones enjoys traveling, reading, kayaking, going to the movies, and spending time with her family, including her grandparents who are residents of Daphne. She hopes to be remembered as a kind and caring physician who devoted her life to her patients, her community, and God.
